Mike Booth is the revered Chairman of Aura-Soma, a line of truly unique therapeutic products, originally created by Vicky Wall, that contain the vital energies of crystals, plants and, most famously, color. In this rare interview at the Aura-Soma headquarters in Tetford, England, Mike speaks candidly with Natalie on the details of the rather metaphysical origins of Aura-Soma as well as his relationship with Vicky Wall. He also reveals the transcendent experience in Scotland that paved the way for his current role in healing the planet using Biodynamic Farming.

You are the colours you choose and these reflect your being’s needs was the statement Aura-Soma founder Vicky Wall often used to explain that the colours we are drawn to show us not only who we intrinsically and truly are, but also what we need in order to bring more of our totality into being. Over 25 years of colour research within the Aura-Soma system has shown again and again that the visible and invisible energies of colour can help to advance our personal evolution.

In the photo below, the very first Equilibrium bottles that were created by Aura-Soma founder Vicky Wall over 30 years ago! These bottles now stand proudly in the office of Mike Booth at the company’s Tetford headquarters. It is certainly a testament to the outstanding quality of the ingredients, combined with the unbelievably meticulous attention to detail in their preparation, that even 30 years after they were filled, the contents of these bottles still remain vibrant in color with the upper and lower elements (‘fractions’) clearly intact!

Aura-Soma has also played a role in the creative process of celebrities such as Alanis Morissette, who openly shares on her site how she worked with the Equilibrium bottles while touring with her massively successful album, Jagged Little Pill.

Using these bottles had me become very passionate about Aura-Soma as a great tool for healing and divination.

It‘s easy to take colour for granted – probably because like so much of life, colour is everywhere and part of everything. Yet, despite its commonness, we relate to colour as a very personal preference – our choices of clothing and décor being the most obvious. As in the wellness models of like attracts like and like cures like, we are instinctively drawn to colours which reflect and support what we are.

Within the Aura-Soma system we have the understanding of You are the colours you choose and these reflect your being‘s needs. Our own colour preferences can reveal the deepest aspects of who we are, what we are here to do and what we need for optimal wellbeing.

You are the colours you choose.
