Hungarian artist Sándor Püski was first recognized on an international level in Budapest when the President of the Hungarian Republic, Mr. Árpád Gönz, presented Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands with one of Sándor’s works during her official visit in 1996

He has gone on to enjoy successful exhibits in Switzerland, Germany and Scandinavia

For his generous charitable efforts supporting child care institutions the artist has earned a prestigious following including ambassadors, actors, singers, and numerous prominent collectors

His works plant a modern twist on traditional Rennais- sance drawing as sepia toned faces rest peacefully amidst abstract strikes of color. Some feature Dali-esque numbers floating and shadowed, and his individually detailed mattes perfectly finish the pieces as original, one of a kind creations

As Sándor’s art becomes more widely known in America, it continues to proudly represent a slice of modern Eastern European culture.
